Position: Post-Doctoral Fellow with Vascular Research Training Program Qualifications / Education: This is a 2-year post-doctoral research experience. MD, PhD or equivalent degree completion required. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the US to be eligible for funding. Description: The University of Wisconsin Surgical Vascular Research Training Program is focused on accelerating the performance of basic, translational, or clinical outcomes research in the field of vascular science. The program focuses research related to vascular biology, drug delivery, and vascular outcomes and health services research. Potential candidates should have an interest in the vascular medicine or vascular diseases and pursuing a career which includes the improvement of vascular-related health outcomes through the pursuit of research. Trainees will obtain a knowledge base in six core competency domains: • Biostatics and study design • Ethics • Scientific Writing • Career Development and Leadership • Communication of Research Findings • Basic, Translational, and/or Clinical Vascular Research
