The Department of Surgery at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital has a Surgical House Officer position available. This is a non-accredited ACGME position. The Surgical House Officer assists with surgery and manages surgical patients under the supervision of the attending physician. The Surgical House Officer provides surgical consultation, acute and urgent care to patients. Responsibilities include medical histories, physical examinations, formulation of diagnosis and treatment plans.

Minimum requirements/qualifications 1. Must be currently Licensed in the State of New York 2. Must have 2 years of General Surgery experience 3. Current CV 4. USMLE Step I, ll & lll 5. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation 6. Letter of Recommendation from Chairman and Program Director
