The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia has an open position for its ACGME accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship for the 2019 - 2020 academic year. We are looking to fill the position with a highly qualified, recent general surgery graduate interested in pursuing a career in trauma/acute care surgery/critical care. The fellows will work with seven fellowship trained, board certified trauma surgeons on core services and throughout the year for a broad based critical care experience. The majority of the fellow’s clinical responsibilities will be in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Shock Trauma Unit (STU) at Augusta University Medical Center. Highlights of the curriculum include, Ultrasound, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG), Burn Unit at the Joseph Still Burn Center, and a stint in the Neurointensive Care Unit (NICU).
