Robotic and Data Science Surgery Research Fellowship
compensatedThe Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Department of Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health, in Manhattan (NY) is looking for a research fellow to join our Data Science and Robotics Research Team. The focus of our research revolves around large dataset surgical research and creation of complex clinical models. Northwell, being the largest clinical healthcare provider in the Northeast and having a unified EMR across 23 hospital, creates unique research opportunities for those interested to pursue such line of research.
Additional research lines include clinical research and robotic surgery outcomes research. The fellow will collaborate with our research partners and industry partners (Johnson and Johnson Verb Surgical, Intuitive surgical) to carry out his own research projects in such field.
The ideal candidate would be an MD transitioning to a clinical position with 1 or 2 years to devote to research. FMGs are encouraged to apply.
