The Division of Surgical Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Seidman Cancer Center is offering a mentored, research fellowship position for 1-2 years to qualified medical school graduates interested in a career in surgery or medicine. This is a paid full-time position. Expenses to national meetings will be covered when abstracts are accepted for presentation. We are especially interested in recruiting curious and ambitious physician-researchers eager to contribute knowledge and understanding to the pancreatic surgery and pancreatic cancer fields. Researchers will have dedicated mentoring by Dr. Jordan Winter and colleagues, and can expect to acquire fundamental skills in clinical research, including biostatistics, database design, clinical trial design, and manuscript writing. Goals include numerous first-author manuscript publications and presentations at national meetings.
