Program Coordinator, General Surgery Residency Program
pgy1pBrookwood Baptist Health seeks a both a General Surgery Residency Program Coordinator and an Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator to help manage its 28-resident general surgery residency program and its 35-resident internal medicine residency program.

The program coordinator works in conjunction with the physician program director to plan and execute all of the activities of the residency program at both Princeton Baptist Medical Center and Grandview Medical Center.
Some of the responsibilities of the program coordinator include:
1. Developing rotation schedules for the residents
2. Coordinating completion of resident evaluations by the faculty physicians
3. Coordinating the annual residency recruitment and interview process
4. Maintaining all of the required documentation to ensure our accreditation remains active
5. Credentialing the residents for rotations at other local hospitals
6. Planning the annual resident graduation event
7. Many other duties revolving around generally ensuring that the residents’ and faculty’s needs related to the program are met
We prefer someone with a college degree, but it is not required. Previous Graduate Medical Education (GME) experience is also not required.
