Non-Designated Preliminary PGY2 General Surgery Residency Position at the #1 referral hospital in the state of Maryland. Level 1 Trauma rotation at the world renowned Shock Trauma Center. You will rotate with our other preliminary PGY2 residents and 6 Categorical Residents on the following rotations throughout the year. -Acute Care Emergency Surgery -Vascular Surgery -Transplant Surgery -Shock Trauma -Surgical ICU -Cardiac ICU -VA General Surgery -Pediatric Surgery

How to Apply Interested applicants must submit the following items: -Current CV -Medical school diploma -Medical school transcript -MSPE (Dean's letter) - Personal statement -3 letters of recommendation (1 from current Program Director) -USMLE Transcript (a first-time pass on both exams is required) -Annual Competency-based summative evaluations from Program Director (all training years) -PGY-1 (and PGY-2 if applicable) ABSITE Score -Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS Certification -List of previously completed rotations (block schedule) -ACGME Defined Category Case logs -ECFMG certificate (if applicable) Only complete applications will be considered.
