St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) is currently looking for a full time research fellow. We are looking for qualified candidates with MD, DO, DDS, PhD, EdD or MPH who are interested in pursuing a specialization in clinical research. Our program is highly structured, including clinical didactics, leadership development, experience in clinical trials, health informatics, and an excellent record of scholarly publications and presentations. Median number of publications for each graduating fellow is 9, with a median of 3 local, regional, or national presentations. SLUHN Research Fellows are highly competitive in the NRMP match, with triple the number of residency / fellowship interviews compared to baseline, as well as an overall 80% annual match rate over the past 5 years. Non-residency options also available, with a career track in clinical research. Interview prerequisites include: 1) Completion, in good standing, or a medical school, PhD / MPH program 2) Green Card or United States Citizen status 3) Completed Step 1 and Step 2, with full disclosure of all attempts (both pass and fail scores, as applicable) 4) Two letters of recommendations, must be from mentors during the past 2 calendar years 5) For preliminary residents, one letter of support must be from the most recent Program Director 6) Personal statement – Must be unique, focused on “why research,” and specifically different from residency or medical school application essay Seeking candidates for the following research specialty area (note: this is different from the candidate’s residency interest area): 1) General Surgery
