The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska is accepting applicants for an ACGME-accredited, 3-year independent Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship position beginning September 1, 2021 with a flexible start date. Due to an unanticipated vacancy, we currently have a PGY6 position available. This fellowship is appropriate for individuals who have completed 5 year, ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and are interested in formal training in plastic surgery. The incoming trainee will join two additional fellows and 7 plastic surgery faculty, 3 advanced practice providers, and ample support staff at our 678 bed, Level 1 trauma, tertiary referral center, additional aesthetic MedSpa and cosmetic surgery practice, out-patient surgery center and several other Omaha locations our attendings practice at.

How To Apply

Applicants are required to have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited five-year general surgery program by the start date of the program. Candidates will be required to submit a CV, three letters of recommendation (one from their General surgery program director), ABSITE and Board Examination scores (if applicable), a letter of eligibility from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (prior to offer) and a personal statement.
