MARCH 2021—The General Surgery Residency Program at the University of California, San Francisco has an ACGME accredited CATEGORICAL training position available at the PGY3 level beginning June 21st, 2021. Please see the specific requirements and instructions for applying below.
NOTE: In view of the current timeline for obtaining a Visa, we are unable to sponsor a Visa for this position.
PREREQUISITES (no exceptions):
• Successful completion in good standing of TWO years of US clinical training in an ACGME accredited general surgery residency training program (or currently in process of completing the second year in good standing)
• New California license requirements specify that at least 24 continous months of clinical training be in the same program.
• International Medical Graduates:
o Must have a valid ECFMG certificate (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates)
