PGY-4 CATEGORICAL POSITION OPENING MAINE MEDICAL CENTER SURGICAL RESIDENCY The Maine Medical Center General Surgery Residency is now accepting applications for a PGY-4 position to start in July 2019. Applicants must currently be in a residency program or finishing up a year (or two years) in the lab. You must have documentation that you have/will have completed three years of general surgical training in an ACGME accredited program in the US. The following documentation must be compiled into a single PDF: • Cover letter summarizing why you are leaving your current program • Current curriculum vitae • Three current letters of recommendation [one must be from your current program director] • USMLE transcript for Steps I, II CS/CK, and III • ABSITE scores and reports for all years completed • Summative competency-based evaluation(s) for each year of residency • Milestone evaluation(s) for each year of residency • Rotations you have completed • Rotation evaluations • ACGME case log (defined category report) • Medical school diploma and transcript • MSPE / Dean's letter • Valid ECFMG certificate if applicable (we support J1 visas only) Please forward all materials by email to fjackson@mmc.org with the applicant's name in the subject line.
