Date Posted: March 19, 2019

MedStar Health Baltimore Program has an opening for a PGY 4 training position starting in July of 2019. The residency program graduates 3 residents per year and offers a robust training environment with rotations at a busy tertiary care medical center. Our emphasis is on training academically strong surgeons with critical thinking skills and procedural expertise in caring for the diverse patients seen in the practice of general surgery. We focus on a range of general surgical procedures, including abdominal, endocrine, and breast surgery; robotic surgery and GI endoscopy. Graduating residents in recent years have obtained top tier fellowships in colorectal surgery, breast oncology, minimally invasive surgery, plastic surgery, and vascular surgery. If not choosing to do a fellowship our grads have obtained competitive private practice positions throughout the nation. We are an academically minded program, looking for someone to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to take their training to the next level.
