Patient Navigator
pgy1pThe Division of Colorectal Surgery at Mount Sinai is seeking a full-time Patient Navigator for our colorectal cancer program. The PN will specifically oversee the caseload of rectal cancer patients across the Mount Sinai Health System and serve as the primary liaison/coordinator between patients, oncology/surgery team. The PN will coordinate the initial and follow-up care of rectal cancer patients across the system, organize and oversee rectal cancer tumor board meetings, and manage the institutional rectal cancer REDCap database. The PN will interface with the clinical trials coordinator to help accrual in various rectal cancer trials. The PN will have ample opportunity to participate in the design and coordination of new institutional protocols and clinical trials. Prior clinical experience is required.
