International Pediatric Surgery Fellowship

The Division of Pediatric Surgery at St. Louis University/Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is seeking an International Pediatric Surgery Fellow to start as soon as July 1, 2020. This is a 2-year non-accredited clinical fellowship in Pediatric Surgery and is fully integrated into the Pediatric Surgery Training Program. The international pediatric surgery fellow functions fully in all areas that would be part of the clinical training of ACGME approved trainees. The trainee will be directly supervised by the pediatric surgical faculty.
Candidates eligible for this position will be expected to have completed their general surgical training and be candidates for advanced pediatric surgical training in their native country. An unrestricted medical license and USMLE steps I, II, III are required as well as current ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certification. Formal credentialing will be performed by St Louis University.
This is a clinical fellowship during which time the fellow will have an opportunity to participate in clinical research projects ongoing. The salary for the academic year of 2020-2021 is approximately $61,000 with full benefits.
