Fellows can expect to gain significant surgical experience in our animal models (including kidney, intestine, and multivisceral transplants), broad understanding of transplant immunology, and exposure to several clinical and research leaders in the field of transplantation. Immunology background and basic science benchwork experience (cell cultures, ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry) are helpful but not mandatory.
