FULLY FUNDED 1 Year ACS-AEI Education/Simulation Fellowship – Heart of Texas Medical Center Houston Methodist Hospital Department of Surgery, Weill-Cornell Medicine is excited to announce a 1-year, fully funded American College of Surgeons – Accredited Education Institutes Education and Simulation Fellowship. Start Date: July 1, 2020 Selected fellow will develop a portfolio of meaningful research and is expected to present broadly at national peer reviewed scientific meetings. Fellows will participate in the education activities of the department and institution. Fellowship experience consists of mentored education and simulation research, development of curriculum for medical students and residents and formal instruction in medical education principles. There is opportunity to pursue a Master’s in Education degree. We are an integrated academic department of surgery with vast educational resources including MITIE, the Houston Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation & Education. Our current fellow has been exceptionally productive, and we expect fellows of our program to be future leaders in education. Eligibility: Completion of at least 2 years of a MD or DO residency program, Surgery, OB/GYN, or Anesthesia
