The Division of Colorectal Surgery at Mount Sinai is seeking a full-time senior research coordinator, ideally suited for PGY2/PGY3 resident looking to gain research experience during their residency. The position is fully-funded for two years at the level of research coordinator salary line. Our Colorectal Division has a track record of academic productivity and experience conducting clinical trials in IBD, colon and rectal cancer surgery. The colorectal research team includes several experienced research assistants and coordinators. The applicant will be expected to coordinate two ongoing multicenter Phase II interventional clinical trials in rectal cancer and manage several REDCap databases. The applicant will have ample opportunities to initiate and develop new institutional research protocols, generate scientific abstracts, submit manuscripts for publication and apply for grants. Prior clinical research experience is preferred.
