The Cleveland Clinic Department of Endocrine Surgery is searching to fill a year-long position with the Center for Endocrine Surgery between August 1, 2022 and July 31, 2023. The Clinical Associate will be exposed to a wide breadth of endocrine and abdominal surgical procedures as well as solid organ oncology with particular emphasis on implementing emerging technologies and surgical ultrasound to the field of conventional and minimally invasive/robotic endocrine surgery. Clinical responsibilities will include management of patients undergoing adrenalectomy, pancreas surgery, laparoscopic liver resection, and laparoscopic liver ablation as well as conventional thyroid and parathyroid surgery. The clinical associate will be expected to be involved with clinical research projects related to this practice. The candidate must have completed ACGME General Surgery Residency with additional or extensive training in endocrine surgery preferred. There will be the opportunity to develop a transition to practice experience to allow the Clinical Associate increased autonomy and experience prior to seeking a permanent Endocrine Surgeon position.
