1 year Position Available from June/July, 2022: Chief Resident in Quality and Safety (CRQS) Location: Baltimore VA Surgery Department The Baltimore, Maryland (VAMHCS) Surgical CRQS is a one year education and clinical curriculum structured around a combination of formal training in quality management and improvement, direct participation in institutional quality and patient safety activities, and implementation of systems redesign projects. In addition, by employing a train-the-trainer model for the education of the residents (University of Maryland Surgical residents), leadership and teaching skills will be developed as part of the learning process. Requirements for candidate: • US Citizen • Must be working within an ACGME approved training program • Should have completed 2 years of training in a surgical/medical specialty
