The division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Oregon Health & Sciences University is seeking applicants for our ACGME accredited 2 year categorical fellowship, general thoracic track. Candidates must have successfully completed a general surgery residency in the Unites States or Canada, currently have or able to obtain an Oregon Medical License, and be US citizens or able to obtain an appropriate visa. Foreign medical graduates with equivalent qualifications who have completed the USMLE exams’ & hold a valid ECFMG certificate are also eligible to apply. Start Date: July 29, 2019. Candidates will receive training in the full spectrum of cardiothoracic disease, including thoracic oncology, esophageal surgery, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, airway surgery, chest wall surgery, heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, percutaneous valve and aortic procedures.
