fellowshipThe Houston Methodist Hospital, Department of Surgery is excited to announce that we have a 1-year, fully funded American College of Surgeons – Accredited Education Institutes Education and Simulation Fellowship position available starting July 1, 2021. Suitable candidates must have completed 2 years of an ACGME accredited General Surgery Residency by June 30, 2021.
Selected fellow will develop a portfolio of meaningful research and is expected to present broadly at national peer reviewed scientific meetings. Fellows will participate in the education activities of the department and institution. Fellowship experience consists of mentored education and simulation research, development of curriculum for medical students and residents and formal instruction in medical education principles. We are an integrated academic department of surgery with vast educational resources including MITIE, the Houston Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation & Education.
