The Mark Friedell Education and Research Fund was formed to identify gaps in research, both large and small, relating to surgical education, outcomes and evidence-based practices. The fund supports APDS research and education grants.

Donations to the Mark Friedell Education and Research Fund are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Fund operates solely under the APDS, which is a 501(c)3 organization.
