The 2014 APDS Resident Award winner is Brian George, MD, of Northwestern University for his paper “Reliability, Validity and Feasibility of the Zwisch Supervision Scale for the Assessment of Resident Operative Autonomy”.
The Outstanding Resident Paper Award was established in 2012, to recognize excellence in resident driven education research. To be eligible, the presenter must be in General Surgery residency training at the time of the presentation.
