ACGME Vascular Surgery Fellowship position at the PGY-6 level to start August 1, 2019. Rush University Medical Center and Rush Medical College in Chicago wishes to fill the first year position of an ACGME approved two year vascular fellowship (5+2). Training will be completed at a large tertiary care hospital in downtown Chicago and also through rotation at a large community hospital in the Chicagoland area. Trainees will be exposed to the most advanced open vascular surgery techniques and the most advanced endovascular techniques. There is also a special emphasis on noninvasive diagnostic procedures related to the baccalaureate program we have for ultrasound technologists at Rush. We also include advanced treatment of venous disease in our practice and training. Trainees will work with four full-time board-certified vascular surgeons and the service is supported by four full-time APP‘s. Applicants must have completed 5 years of ACGME accredited General Surgery training in the United States or Canada.
