Surgery Education Research and Simulation Fellowship

The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Surgery is seeking applications for our MGH Surgery Education Research and Simulation Fellowship. This 1-2 year program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons and the Fellowship Directors are Drs. Denise Gee and Roy Phitayakorn. Interested applicants should be clinical surgery residents who possess funding and will be entering their research years beginning July 2020. The fellowship is designed for individuals who have an interest in education research, but do not have any formal training or experience. The curriculum of the fellowship is a hybrid-learning approach with both bimonthly didactic workshops and closely mentored education research projects. Our graduates typically present and/or publish an average of 8-10 times during their fellowship.
