The General Surgery Residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, in Washington DC, has a PGY 2 preliminary vacancy beginning as soon as possible. The following should be submitted as attachments: • ERAS Application • Summative Competency-Based Performance Evaluation completed by Program Director • Milestone Evaluation: Mid-Year 2015-2016 (If applicable) • Medical school diploma • Medical school transcript • MSPE (Dean's letter) • 3 letters of recommendation (1 must be from current Program Director) • USMLE STEP 1, 2, and CS Transcript and STEP 3 (if applicable) o A first-time pass on both STEP 1 & 2 exams is required • ABSITE 2016 Score Report, and prior years (if applicable) • Current Defined Category Case Log Report • List of all rotations during PGY 1 (Block Schedule) • ECFMG certificate (if applicable) o Note: Foreign medical graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate. • We only Sponsor J-1 visas- NO EXCEPTIONS.
