Non-ACGME accredited Pediatric Surgery Fellowship
St. Louis University/ SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital is offering a non-ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Surgery. This position provides comprehensive training in Pediatric Surgery including neonatal surgery, oncology, trauma, inflammatory bowel disease, and general thoracic surgery. Trainees will provide care for patients ranging in age from neonates to adolescence in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and the operating room. Fellows will spend the first year engaging in clinical research and participating in the clinical call scheduled. The second year of the fellowship will be fully dedicated to clinical activities. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital is a 200 bed free-standing tertiary children’s hospital with a 68 bed NICU. It serves as a busy Level I Pediatric Trauma center for patients in Missouri and Illinois. Trainees must be fully trained General Surgeons and have an ECFMG certificate. The length of the fellowship is 24 months.
