Montefiore Medical Center, Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery is seeking BE/BC General Surgeons to join the Section of General and Acute Care Surgery. The successful candidate will become a member of the team responsible for providing surgical care to patients in Montefiore Medical Center’s three acute care hospitals. W. Scott Melvin, MD, Vice Chairman and Chief of the Division of General Surgery will lead the search for this new position. The position is open in rank from Assistant to Associate Professor of the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital and Academic Medical Center for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, is the major healthcare provider for a community area of two million people and has the fifth busiest emergency department in the United States.
