Clinical Research Fellow
The University of Pittsburgh Division of Cardiac Surgery is offering a 1 to 2 year funded and mentored clinical research fellowship. This fellowship is designed to train residents or postdoctoral fellows in the conduct of translational and clinical research. The combination of ample clinical volume and existing biostatistical and clinical outcomes research support will provide a fertile environment for rapid conduct and dissemination of multiple projects. There is also robust opportunity for involvement in the development of new software and algorithms for clinical risk prediction in cardiac surgery. Background experience in bioinformatics or biostatistics is preferred but not necessary. Full time salary will be provided. Applicants must hold a MD or PhD or equivalent degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to apply.
