**Immediate opening** The Connecticut Burn Center in Bridgeport, CT is accepting applications for a one-year non-ACGME Burn Fellowship to begin August 1, 2019. The Connecticut Burn Center is affiliated with the Yale Surgical Residency and is the only center in Connecticut to be verified by the American Burn Association for treatment of adult burns. A substantial number of pediatric burns, complex wounds, and necrotizing infections are treated as well. Our nine-bed, renovated burn unit offers state-of-the-art facilities and a well-integrated, energized team dedicated to the care of the burn patient. The fellow plays a pivotal role in the burn unit, and over the year will be expected to master all aspects of care of the burn patient, from initial management, including critical care, through to excision and grafting of burns as well as reconstruction. The fellow will also engage in teaching of students and surgical residents as well as in ongoing research in burns. Applicants must have completed at least PGY-2 in surgical training at an accredited general surgery residency.
